Boo, Yoshi and Peach all have conflicting ideas for who should be eliminated next, which puts the three at an impasse. Toad concocts the next challenge as a kart race, which is deemed impossible for Boo to complete, so she is rendered out of the challenge. After racing through many worlds Mimi is granted immunity into the final 5. Either Kamek or Peach is the intended target, and Mimi puts her plan into action to vote out Yoshi with the help of Kamek and Petey.
Yoshi's Journey on TDIR[]
Yoshi's time before the merge was bad to him since Birdo wants him. As you can see the feeling wasn't mutual since in every elimination he voted for her(He could've voted for Mario in episode 2). As soon as she was gone and being back on Yoshi's Island he felt ready to relax. He couldn't do it for long since he had work to do. Since It was Mimi's plan to get rid of Birdo He is now her loyal alliance member. Between this and right before the merge he kind of missed her(He will never admit that again). In the merge he realized he needs to do all he can to win. In this episode he thought Peach was Mimi's target so he votes for Peach. “Peach is mentally prepared to be eliminated and ... why stop her? If Peach doesn't want to be here ... *sighs* ... I mean that just makes her an easy target. In one fell swoop I can get rid of Peach who, let's be honest, Is going to be a bit of a burden and also make friends with Mimi for helping get rid of her enemy. I know it's a sucky thing to do to a friend, but as long as it furthers my own game ... who cares?” As it turns out he was wrong. It was him who Mimi was targeting! This led to his eliminated with a 3-2-1 vote against him. As if it couldn't get worse for him Birdo took the cannon with him!
